Unwinding Embodied Compulsion- Twisting with the Head Fixed (54 min) / Matty Wilkinson

“Really LOVE the quote you read 2/3 into the lesson. Immediately more of my body became naturally involved that was previously unknowingly fixated.” - Rosanna

Sliding Hoops (79 min) / Paul Pui Wo Lee

“How refreshing to get into all the ribs and move them on many planes. Such tiny delicate upper body swishing gave exquisite sensations through the lung chi and the balancing opposite lower and larger ribs smooch together felt bouncy. As I'm remembering the sensations I feel so playful and childlike at 62! In part I’m sure it is down to Pauls playful instructions :)) “ - Janet Patricia Lewis

Thinking in Walking by Pushing the Hip Joints (51 min) /  Deborah Bowes

“I hated this lesson, not at first of course, but after a while. I had done another lesson before this one, it was probably too much. After 55 minutes (including the intro) I wanted to stop, it was enough. But then I got up and walked and I felt like the basketball player Deborah talked about in the beginning. It was awesome! I felt so sure of myself, I moved so easily. So I went back and finished the lesson :) This was one of those Feldenkrais miracles, I do stuff of which I think, man! I don't see the point of this and then afterward everything has changed. So cool! Thank you. I'll check out more of your lessons, for sure.” - Maud

Well-Being Through Pelvic Floor Awareness (44 min) /  Deborah Bowes

“Thank you Deborah, your lessons are so rich with just the right amount of information and direction. I feel so lucky to learn from you. Question, when you say long spine you are referring to your neutral natural spine? So not adding on to flexion when limbs come together nor adding to arch when they are apart. Thank you again I feel amazing and connect on a deeper but softer level.” -  Darlene Carman

Waking Up Your Sternum  (37 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“It has been a great lesson, such a subtle introduction to the sternum to participate in the movement. It was a pleasure exploring how the movement changes depending on where the foot, which is pressing on the floor, how far you can move without moving the shoulder, how different was lifting the head at the beginning of the lesson and after, How easily it becomes twisting, rolling, lifting. Thank you so much” - Brunilda

July Highlights

Leaning for Leverage to Paint with the Feet (73 min) / Paul Pui Wo Lee

“I have enjoyed all three classes in this series. I noticed how I was using core muscles in this last lesson, although Paul never mentioned them. I am still a beginner and learning to sense my skeletal bones so there was that also. The movements did get easier and smoother by the end. At one point I started dreaming and woke up to continue on. All so very interesting and engaging. Thank you, Paul.” - Noreen Bluemling

Pelvis / Head Connection - in sitting (15 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Wow. Thank you! This practice made me aware of the resistance I have in my upper chest. At first, I was wondering why there's no feeling of connection between my head and the pelvis when lowering and raising my head, then I felt the resistance in my upper chest and after that, the intense underlying energy. Thank you!!!” - Aniko

Waking Up Your Sternum (37 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“This lesson is lovely...I was expecting a focus on the sternum, but you only approach it towards the end by way of the hips and shoulders, doing some gentle twisting on the side. My whole upper body feels more whole and spacious after this lesson, and I am more settled into my body overall.” - Megan

Seismic Shifts (55 min) / Donna Wood

“Fun! Beautiful lesson, thank you.” - Tymberly Canale

Opening and Closing Like a Flower, Lying on the Side (64 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“I keep coming back to this series. Most of the time it gives me such a deep rest. I’ve been doing the flowers and joining hands sessions for some days now. Since the third day I have experienced quite strong spontaneous twitching and shaking in hands and arms during the parts where elbows are not on the ground. It wasn't happening during the first times when I was doing the sessions. Can you explain what the cause could be and what it means? Thank you.” - Hanna

Twisting the Pelvis with a Long Arm (50 min) / Matty Wilkinson

“I am astonished at how much there was in this lesson for me. Little seemed to be happening while I was doing it, although I was drinking the concepts. However, when I stood and walked, I felt the fluidity and the connections to parts of my body I had not imagined were involved. Looking forward to exploring the lesson more this week. Thank you for this very dense lesson.” - Peri McQuay

Observing and Disturbing How we Embody Stress (61 min) / Elizabeth Beringer

“I really loved this exploration - so rich. To be repeated ... Thankyou” - Jane Maywood

“I just adored this ATM lesson! So much going on with this on all levels—physical, emotional. It’s been 8 years since my left shoulder unfroze after a 2-year bout of adhesive capsulitis..but rolling to the right with my arms in the triangle still brought a tenderness around my left shoulder blade to my awareness. Standing, Clarifying Hip Joints (46 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I'm so happy I finally got around to starting this series, as my wonky hip and I really need this one and it doesn't require getting down to the floor and back up which is challenging for me. This was an awesome session. Most startling to me was the amount of cross body release I had -- above the hips. And I was able to get more turn to my foot and I now actually feel my foot on the challenged side on the floor, and I can get my toes touching the floor -- both of those for the first time in over a year. Looking forward to doing the other sessions, gently. Thank you!” - Dina Kennedy

Book on Foot #5 - Spiraling from the Belly (47 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Just when I'm feeling a little cocky and feel the benefit of a lesson within the first minute or two, you introduce something that knocks me back to square one! Because of the precariousness of the book, I was hyper focused on every micro-movement to keep it balanced. I was forced to move s-l-o-w-l-y to each additional layer. Never fully kept the book balanced but did I have feel satisfaction as if I did!” - Taffy

Exploring Jaw, Tongue and Neck Relationships (53 Min) / Tiffany Sankary

Connecting Breath, Pelvis, Spine & Head (47 Min) / Matty Wilkinson

“This helped my lower thoracic - felt release in the spine there.I particularly liked the belly in/out whilst holding breath. I have right sided 'fascial drag', which seems to get particularly tangled around the diaphragm causing liver/gall bladder discomfort (which I think is the root of right shoulder issues). Doing this exercise I got the sense that it would help ease this - I intend to ask a cranial osteopath when I see him tomorrow what he finds there this time” - Natasha

“Feeling my deep center, like all movement stems from this rhythmic, essential diaphragm center; with softness, the whole of my being is cradled and moving together” - Keith Sheldon

“When I stood up, I could feel a clear connection from my pelvis through the entire spine to the head. I have never felt such a clear connection before, especially the connection through my thoracic area. (I now realized I've "skipped" from the pelvis/lumbar to the neck/head, missing the middle!) Also my eyes' relationship to the pelvis/spine/head connection became so much clearer. Overall, I felt a more "integrated" lengthen that I've never felt before. It's a wonderful feeling. Thanks!” - RS

Waking Up Your Sternum (37 Min) / Tiffany Sankary

The Intention to Pause (3 Min) / Neruma Ankti

“This is great Neruma, many thanks. Often when I get asked something I can't answer straight away, I ask for a little while. So I ask myself this question and pause. I give this question time within me. this pause can be between breathing in and out, it also can take 2 minutes or 3 days and even longer. Even in practicing ATM. For me it is beyond time, space and matter.” - Fatima

“Ohhh....thank you for this Neruma! It reminds me of, and helps me clarify in my mind, what happened in a recent dance I had with the intention to pause. The other day, I found myself in a challenging conversation and despite knowing well the value of a pause, I completely didn't do so. The emotions bubbled up and I spoke reactively, guided by old conditioning and with a lot of anger - which in turn resulted in both of us re-enacting and reinforcing old, fruitless dynamics. That night, I set the intention to pause in future conversations with this person. The next day, I had my chance to deliver on my intention - and I did. I paused. The experience was as you describe - the pause created space, openings. An opening to bear witness to what I was feeling and then an opening to receive an intelligence/knowing to guide me in becoming responsive rather than reactive. This spaciousness allowed for other possibilities in the moment - as you say, the "call to action" arising spontaneously in the space of the pause. And I share your sentiment - the pause is in contrast to the go-go-go culture - not only disrupting the norm, but also opening up spaces for something different to emerge. YAY!” - Veena Vasista

“Love this distinction of pausing. I will set that intention during my next lesson”- Paulita

“Lovely! Pausing is quite amazing in that it gives space for something new, heretofore unnoticed, to show up. It enriches one's life.” - Judith Morse

Be the Change - I Have a Dream (78 Min) / Neruma Ankti

“The expecting the best exercise was definitely a good one for me. I remember trying that about a year ago and it really does take you out of the fear of your expectations. Thank you for the reminder Neruma!” - Katherine Edmond

“So happy to start this series... I don't have children but have often studied teachers that use infants and children as understanding primal, efficient movement. I laugh to think I was trying to understand it through the written word. Thank you for such an enlightening experience.. I feel so calm and whole after starting the class feeling hindered by tight places and habitual movements that do not use a soft, full open belly and chest. I get the striving so happens in my hamstrings, arms, shoulders, jaw and lateral tightness of my upper ribs. I was able to let go eventually and awaken areas, mostly belly and chest, to support the overall movement of my small intentional movements. Looking forward to more, Thank you!” - Marcella Tancreti

Side Bending in Standing (28 min) / Tiffany Sankary

I then started to increase my walking rate and I felt I was entering into a physical and mental state where I could be working on movement or text improvisation in very relaxed feeling. I then slowed down the walking leading me to a soothing energy level and to feeling more relaxed.

The raise of energy just coming from more expansive shoulders brought me to a place of disconnection and a reconnection with the way I can use my body in everyday life and for creative work.” - Aminah

A Feldenkrais Lesson for Easing Anxiety (56 min) / David Zemach Bersin

I just re-did this wonderful session and my breathing was turning into a fast breathing release every time I was gently lifting the shoulder and pointing the lower jaw to the opposite direction. It felt like the emotional or anxiety part needed to be released and it manifested through fast breathing. I felt this to be very supportive, reconstructive and a way to primitively reconnect with the nervous system. It then became more generalized and soothing breathing that brought more ease. The integration of the eyes and the pelvis allowed me to have an embodied and flowing breathing.” - Aminah

My movement of my chest did grow as the feeling of chi and blood/lymph flow increased. In reflection my vision was softened my rib cage feels open and energized and am left inspired to keep bringing this practice to inform my movement to be more efficient and in turn feel more.” - M

Exploring Jaw, Tongue and Neck Relationships (53 min) / Tiffany Sankary

I often get very bone tired & am looking toward reducing this feeling even more after 10 years of diligently studying Feldenkrais/somatics. Sometimes I feel I’ve got a good handle on it & others I do not. Waves of habitual responses come & go, I observe, I cry, I laugh, all in all I learn to love myself & the experiences that have brought me to this moment in time. Thank you dear one, there is more levity, light, & love in my being-ness.” - Lisa Mace

Having our physical responses AND stepping into new territory, building new relationships and new ‘systems.’” -Mary Susan Chen

Movements of the Jaw and Tongue to Reduce Anxiety (67 min) David Zemach-Bersin

"This was amazing! I'm a professional dancer and former circus artist from Sweden, but three years ago i had an accident where i fell on my head and ever since, i've been struggling with P.C.S (post commotio syndrom) which basically is remaining symptoms from a concussion. I KNEW this mobility was there, was possible. I'm so happy to have found your way of teaching and to be signed up for the 6 week class.” -Louise

Book on the Foot # 4 - Spiraling Leg While Lifting Head (46 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I adore practices around balance I always feel to together and alive afterwards. It's been fun balancing a book on my feet instead of balancing myself on the ground and the preparation for that. . . my relationship with balance and the ground has changed. I feel so much stronger, more graceful, more poised, moving my legs especially, with more clarity and precision. There's a new confidence, a matter of fact assurance about practicing movements and poses.” -Jacqui

“Balance was so much better because I was using my feet, toes and ankles in new ways. They felt so alive and actively participating in the movements. They were connecting differently into the hip joints. You've inspired me to try and teach this--or at least part of it!” -Suzanne

Book on Foot #2 - Ankles and Neck (54 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“As I awoke 36 hours after doing this lesson I was repeatedly initiating that first impulse of rotating my arms and legs around themselves. Felt super lovely and fascinating that I was very actively processing this lesson at the moment of waking up...” -Jacqui

Rotating Hands to Restore Your Nervous System (25 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“my nervous system needs this like my cappucino every day. "WOW" how good it feels. Very easy to do lesson and feel the different sensations associated to the nervous system on the left & right side of my body. To experience my eyes moving opposite with hand rotation is a very pleasing experience.” -David

Oscillating Movements on Your Back (42 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“This lesson leaves me feeling more connected and cohesive in my body...especially my torso; and much easier throughout my belly and my chest.” -Megan

Edges of the Feet and Smooth Rolling of the Head (45 min) / Deborah Bowes

“This is an AMAZING lesson to visit when in the middle of pain flare ups (specifically, for me, in the area of the shoulder and neck) - it is very difficult to focus elsewhere when feeling pain in these areas for me, but this lesson helped me to divert that fixation and, in the end, find so much ease and relief.” -Rachel L.

Connecting the Arm to the Back (41 min) / Aliza Stewart

“I can show myself it’s own patterns, preferences, and paths to change, but the instructions of HOW to do that (for me) must be very concrete, logical, and scientific. Aliza, in general, has such a profound gift of articulation in this fashion. I have done so many iterations of this lesson taught by so many different people. This is, by far, the most it has helped me.” -Rachel L.

Art of Learning: Introduction to the Feldenkrais Method® / Tiffany Sankary

“I did this course a year ago and it was my first concrete glimpse into the Feldenkrais Method. It was a real life-changing experience. The principles had a profound impact on me and I felt like I had arrived home. The movement lessons made my body feel so free and light. I can't remember when I last felt so good (probably as a child). I've struggled a lot in my life health-wise and it's been amazing how the positive effects have gone deeper the more lessons I've been doing. Thank you, Tiffany, for this course and for this fabulous library. All this has been invaluable.” -Tarja

Mixtape Check In from Feldenkrais Mixtape Series / Tiffany Sankary

“This is the most I've been intimate with my body in what feels like forever. I'm loving the Feldenkrais lessons. They feel like a sweet coming home to myself. Thank you for your gift of sharing these lessons with us Tiffany. From many years of swinging in baseball, and torquing my pelvis in one direction, I'm working to create even more room for compassion, and noticing without having to "fix". I come from a personal development background for the last 10+ years, so the tendency is the fix the "problem". This is such a sweet awareness and acceptance practice. Your transmission of that through the videos and practices is palpable. Thank you for this gift to the world.” -Matthew

Weekly Vision

Intro to Weekly Vision: a Supportive, Practical Structure for Moving Your Vision Forward (83 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“This is really so wonderful! Thank you for sharing your process of organization and for inviting an individualized approach to creating one. I was very inspired when I joined for the group this past Monday and now that I have set up my Notion, I am feeling more confident that I can help create an organic flow of organization with all the different projects I do.” -Tymberly

“Thank you, Tiffany, for explaining how to use Notion. I had tried to do it on my own, but it didn't work out very well and I wasn't able to get everything organized. After this Weekly Vision, I was able to both use the App and organize everything into meaningful categories. It's so much easier to have everything on Notion and not have lots of pieces of paper getting lost! Also, it's great to start the week with Weekly Vision and plan the week ahead this way.” -Tarja

Supine, Exploring Lifting the Pelvis (45 min) / Jeff Haller

“An outright (at first) challenge - Perhaps it’s the bodybuilder in me speaking, but I especially love lessons that confront me with my own...failure? Wrong word choice, I’m sure! To clarify: at the start of this lesson, I saw clearly how the organization of my lower legs/feet . . . had habituated towards a particular pattern of instability - how that organization was indeed failing me. By noticing . . . I found a different sequence of muscle contraction possible. Eventually, I found my left glute - which, even as an occasion, is such a huge relief. Looking forward to seeing how this lesson settles in!” -Rachel

Well-Being Through Pelvic Floor Awareness (44 min) / Deborah Bowes

“This is a lovely lesson! My PT recommended some exercises to engage my pelvic floor in recent weeks, and after this lesson I'm finding it much easier to do them...the engagement feels much more balanced, whole and smooth now. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series! My pelvis overall feels balanced (it was a bit off kilter beforehand), and I'm standing through my feet more evenly.” -Megan

The Appreciation of Beauty: Rolling on the Side with Rotation of the Leg (46 min + a talk) / Deborah Bowes

“I am 61 and after the lesson, I feel like a baby again!” -Ed

Head and Shoulders in Opposition (51 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I often feels the space between my right shoulder blade and my rib cage is full of small marbles. Working slowly through this lesson helped to illuminate the stuttering of my shoulder blade as it moved, and to eventually move into a smoothness - as if the marbles had just rolled away to sit on the floor beside me. After the lesson, my shoulders felt coordinated and free in a very new way.” -Rachel

“ I found more ease through my upper body after this lesson, and also felt more even in my feet and pelvis in standing as the lesson went on. The part that stood out the most though was when you said something to the effect of...the more you honor your limitations, the more you will improve. And that doesn't mean you'll win a prize for the number of times you can do the movement or how big it will be, but instead that you will find more pleasure and coordination in the movement.” -Megan

“This lesson was very helpful in addressing some pain and tightness I’ve been having in my right shoulder. After the lesson I feel much more relaxed in my neck, shoulders, and cervical spine. I'm standing straighter, weight is more balanced on each foot with shoulders back and eyes up. This pain pattern I’m in feels pretty entrenched so it’s wonderful to have some feeling of relief, however long it may last.” -James

Being Here and Getting There: Exploring Our Relationship to Change (63 min) / Astra Coyle

“This felt so nice. I noticed really enjoying the first few movements where the spine was rotating in conjunction with the movement of the leg. I also found my elbows wanting to bend, and several times ending up in the infant reflex position of ATNR, including positioning of the arms and legs! Super interesting.” -Jen

A Flexible Spine (41 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“My spine feels more like a cohesive unit after this lesson, and I feel more like I am being held upright rather than having to work to hold myself up. . . This really brought my awareness to each one into present focus. I'm looking forward to doing this lesson again!” -Megan

Oscillating Movements on Your Back (42 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“excellent lesson, so beautifully illustrates the simple majesty of feldenkrais, it's not about the movement, it's not about the idea or the ideal, it is about function, it is about meaning, it is a magic that is more real than our idea of what reality is” -Eka

“This lesson is going to be my go to when I'm having neck funk. At first, I couldn't feel my foot pushing as I twisted, but eventually I could feel my torso getting involved, then into my feet and pelvis. It went from being a shoulder movement to an integrated, whole body movement.” -Megan

Breath Awareness: Restoring Spontaneity (76 min) / Corinna May

“There's so much woven into this for me that taking it in easy to digest pieces is how I needed to do it with the first lesson. I feel a general positive sense which I'll let gently unfold . . .” -Jacqueline

Open Mindedness in Action: The Candelabra (45 min + a talk) / Deborah Bowes

“Enjoyed this lesson again today! When I first lifted my head . . .there was strain again. . . the next time I was directed to lift my head in the same way, but coordinated with another movement, I could move it easily! And now when I do that movement there is ease in my neck when lifting. Pretty exciting! Loved the movement puzzles and discovering my ability to change easily while continuing to breathe. Again I feel that buzzy afterglow. So nice!” -Maureen

The Appreciation of Beauty: Rolling on the Side with Rotation of the Leg (46 min + a talk) / Deborah Bowes

“I taught this to my seniors class (ages 60-87) earlier today and it was very successful. With this group, which I've been teaching for nearly two years, softening the ribs, chest, and spine and getting them to feel the connection between the head and pelvis is crucial. This lesson is a fabulous addition to my toolbox.” -Madeline

Four Corners (48 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Before the lesson my torso felt tightly sunk into flexion and my right leg was bearing most of my weight. Afterwards there is much less tension in my neck muscles, upper trapezius, and shoulders. My weight is evenly balanced on both legs. While walking I notice hips and shoulders syncing with ease across the diagonal. This is a very pronounced and pleasant sensation. As an unexpected bonus, my nervous system feels quiet and relaxed.” -James

Tilting Legs, Self Hug (40 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Thanks so much for this workshop! I just watched most of it and, despite it being a difficult health day, now feel a lightness throughout my core and my spirit. It was liberating to play with raw sound (very different from my classical voice training) and sending that sound -- my voice, my person -- to the intended listener. I also loved Corinna's response to the question at the end about holding one's breath after speaking, and how softening and space-making in the belly make us ready and open for the next moment.” -Emily

Looking Outward, Sensing Inward: Eyes and Pelvic Floor (61 min) / Deborah Bowes

“This is a lovely lesson that I plan to return to. . . I feel more balanced, and where my pelvis felt all twisted up on the same side that the rib is, it's now more relaxed and easy. . . Connecting the eyes and the pelvic floor helps me to feel more whole and embodied.” -Megan

Rolling on Side with Hand Touching Face (48 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“My favorite part of this lesson is when we first put our hands on our cheeks, and Tiffany described how her daughter does this when she sleeps. It's such a sweet thing to do, and imagining a little one doing this flooded my body with tenderness. It was delicious to move and imagine throughout the lesson from that place.” -Megan

“That first moment when we're invited to put our hand on our cheek is so tender and so intimately and intensely in contact with our humanity. It took my breath away a little, and in a really good way, as the sense of connectedness and interconnectedness within myself grew, radiated outwards and connected with a vision I have of humanity as one large interconnected breathing mass. Pretty cool!! At the end my relationship to the floor was more even, more released and I felt generally gentler, softer and more aware of the rhythms and patterns of my body” -Jacqueline

Diagonals and Freeing Hips and Ankles (70 min) / Margaret Kaye

“I have been enjoying this series immensely. This particular lesson was a nice surprise as I did not know it was going to involve balancing a book on my foot. Several months had gone by between repeating the lesson, yet, the second time was much easier to balance the book on both sides.”

I needed to differentiate these words from adding effort.” -Veena

Shoulder Diagonals with Both Arms (46 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Wonderful lesson! I am able to recognize the sensitivity and dynamic motion in my pelvis and not just feel like a heavy block in one piece in that area. So many useful applications for this.” -Tymberly

Integration and Perspective: Moving and Lengthening the Spine (47 min) / Deborah Bowes

“. . .It has led me into very deep layers, felt to myself. Even more I understand the "feeling in myself" and a state of grace opens up. Somehow like in a trance, but still so clear and present. My whole being has enjoyed this hour.” - Fatima

“ . . .By working with this very subtle awareness around the spine, neck, and shoulders, I was able to recognize the relationships of certain habitual efforts to each other, and by staying calm and curious as you have helped us discover, I was able to see this muscular/emotional/breath pattern as the underpinning of anxiety. . . certainly felt in a liberated, flowing state afterwards, with a sense of wholeness and not parts. It is great to learn that we can move into these states by our own practice and not just hope and wait for them to happen.” -Margaret

Variation in Action: Sliding Legs and Pelvic Diagonals (40 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Oh this was really lovely for me. I released a LOT of stuck energy throughout the entire session with yawning non stop. I loved the gentle build up of this lesson. I've been having trouble with my right hip, and that had started to affect the left hip. Both are so much better right now. I'll be back to this one for sure! Thank you.” - Dina

“It was interesting that when you first directed to slide the leg up toward the hip joint, I felt discomfort in the groin. But after trying the 3 versions I discovered a new trajectory that was comfortable and easy. It always amazes me how habits can perpetuate discomfort when an easier option is readily available!” -Maureen

Potent Posture (Talk + 2 mini lessons 60+ min) / Tiffany Sankary

“. . . I love it. It is so powerful and really helps me to see so many limitations in the way I see the world and myself in it. Wakes me up and presents new possibilities. . .” - Lisa

“Game changer to learn that our bodies tell our brains unconscious messages. I.e. - can’t turn head freely? Body tells brain you’re in danger. Anxiety response triggered, for example. This is a major thing I got out of the lesson in addition to an amazing improvised movement I initiated near the end of the session where I felt no pain. I usually struggled with low back pain, stiffness. I feel the limberness even the day after. I’m really excited to see how further, consistent practice can change everything for me: mind and body!” - Amy

Looking Up and Down on Hands and Knees (7 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“This was an interesting exploration. Having come from yoga as a movement practice, to explore this movement from a new perspective. I often move through my yoga practice with eyes closed, so to have them open was new and interesting. New awareness.” - Edi

The power of attention to make such immediate and comfort enhancing changes seems almost magical!” - Maureen

Pelvic Clock (55 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Lovely lesson! I haven't done a pelvic clock lesson before alternating between laying and sitting, and enjoyed that difference. My back didn't want to move much at all in the beginning, but gradually opened up. I'm now feeling more ease and balance in my pelvis and overall, and notice that I'm standing with my weight more evenly distributed in my feet. Interestingly, I also notice that I'm not able to look as far from side to side afterwords...but I tend towards hypermobility and sense that the balance and ease overall also brings more stability.” - Megan

“This felt so luxurious! Pure pleasure. Your soothing voice, the reminders to listen to what feels good. This was like a wonderful self massage!” -Maureen

By the end I had pinpointed a locked area in my low back that I had not been aware was hampering my walking -- I'd been thinking the issues were in my hip and knee. Walking with hands going opposite of my norm opened an almost full hip extension, yet when I returned to normal I locked up again. I'll be playing with this one. Great lesson thank you.” -Dina

Primary Movements of the Jaw (24 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“I love the way it is designed so accessibly for beginners!” -Ilana

Rolling/Integration (12 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Rolling from side to side on my back is so soothing to me! It's my go to move when I need to take a break or settle in. I love to go slowly and track the sensation of where my back and head are leaving and contacting the ground. This lesson helped expand my experience with it. . . I also enjoyed experimenting with different directions of looking to initiate the movement.” -Megan

Pelvic Clock (55 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“. . . near the end, I was able to head the advice to do what feels right, to play with my “Dali” circle. That was liberating. I feel if I had listened to the intros I would have gotten much more out of the practice. At the end, I felt much more grounded in my body, my stick figure was much more symmetrical, and I felt firmly rooted while standing up too. Thanks for another great lesson Tiffany!” -Amy M

Differentiating Movement of the Leg to Roll Forward and Back (60 min) / Tiffany Sankary

The Appreciation of Beauty: Rolling on the Side with Rotation of the Leg (60+ min) / Deborah Bowes

“I really loved how good this week’s lesson felt in my body. I felt so at peace with my body for a few hours after class. I think it also helped a chronic pain & tightness I’ve been nursing in my hips. It allowed me to run with more ease today. I look forward to doing this ATM again and again. Thanks Deborah!” -Joanne

Exploring Self Image through the Shoulder (42 min) / Deborah Bowes

“Thank you Deborah! Ooooh, this was so delightful. Your pacing is so relaxing. We chatted on the phone about a month ago about my inability to lay on my back so I have only been doing lessons on my side. Great news....I could lay on my back much much more easily after completing this lesson on the first side. I was so excited that 2 days later I repeated the lesson on my other side and had even more improvement. Thank you so much!” -Kirsten

Folding Yourself (42 min) / Aliza Stewart

“A slow, easy and engaging exploration of the movements of the entire skeletal system.” - Maureen

“I felt so much more grounded after this lesson. Thanks Aliza!” - Megan

Sphincters (56 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“This is an amazing lesson, I feel really in peace and balanced after exploring the different movements and your invitations and voice are bliss.” - Helena

Curiosity and Self Knowledge Through Awareness of Breath (44 min) / Deborah Bowes

“It has been an amazing experience. One of the main things I have feeling with Deborah is how safe I feel exploring the ATM, she really creates a nurturing space. . .I am very curious to continue exploring the series, thank you Tiffany and Deborah, this is really a gift.” - Helena

“The openness and lessened rigidity in my ribs feels wonderful. I've noticed since this class that my breath holding on inspiration and expiration varies depending on the emotion of the moment. I have also enjoyed noticing when my breath simply flows.” - FLO

Hips to Arms (10 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I love this lesson simply because, after the lesson when I walk, I feel the middle of me (torso) undulate with each step. My feet are more grounded -- meaning I feel more of the ground in myself and there is such an ease through my torso to shoulders and head. I think when doing something as basic as walking, it brings such pleasure to feel intricacies of our body, reacting to one another. It is the definition of ease. And then with ease comes pleasure. My arm swings were funny. The side that was easier, the arm swing felt natural, the side that felt a little hitch, the arm swing felt like it was trying to learn something that it hadn't quite figured out yet!” -Erin

Pelvic Clock (51 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“A very engaging version of pelvic clock. Especially enjoyed moving around the clock while on elbows and then hands. The movement of femur in hip joint is still a fascinating puzzle to me and those positions are an opportunity to tune in to the experience of moving only the pelvis. Like a magic trick, I still can't fathom how it's done! But I'm intrigued and curious which is good!” -Maureen

Edges of the Feet and Smooth Rolling of the Head (45 min) / Deborah Bowes

“So cool to feel the connection between my neck and feet/ankles while standing and turning my head at the end of the lesson!” -Megan

“I don't suffer from pain - I listened to this because I was curious :) Loved it generally and with the added bonus that it involved ankles... And thank you Deborah for elaborating on the relationship with the vestibular system. Aged 5 my ankle and foot were run over - thankfully no bones broken, and as long as I remember I've always had vestibular balance that's a bit of a background challenge. Moving my head with the movement focused on my left ankle just wasn't happening for me. Interestingly I had to stop and get up for a moment which involved a few steps and when I went back to it as if my magic I could do it almost unthinkingly. Will do again for the general feeling it gave me and perhaps I learn more about my ankle too. Thank you!!” -Jacqueline

Rolling Fists (50 min) / Mary Spire

“I think this is the first lesson I have done which focused on shoulders and arms and I really enjoyed paying attention to this part of my body. I appreciated the reminder to focus on the shoulder movement while turning the arms. I rested a lot since my arms got quite tired being held up and, in certain positions, could only twist a little. This was another good opportunity to take care of myself by doing only what was easy.” -Maureen

Intro & Breathing Practice to Calm the Nervous System (14 min) / Deborah Bowes

“This simple practice was very transformative for me. I first tried it in the midst of not being able to sleep, feeling pretty stressed out with my mind racing. I figured it would be more supportive to do a lesson than continue to lay in bed and worry. But instead of venturing into the series of lessons from this workshop, this one segment allowed me to quickly drop into my body again, rest my weight into the bed, and fall asleep before it was over. Doing it again the next morning helped to take the edge off of my "insomnia hangover" too. Thanks for this Deborah!” -Megan

Squatting (18 min) / Margaret Kaye

“I'm feeling so exhilarated, I just had to share! I just spent an hour squatting in a trench beside our house, scraping and scrubbing at the foundation. My husband has done the digging work so far but this task he is unable to manage. I am sure this mornings class helped tune my body for this task. I feel great! Strong and capable. My body image has been reset!” -Maureen

Increasing Mobility of the Chest (37 min) / Mary Spire

“I found this lesson uncomfortable in my body, at first. I rested more often and was pleased to discover greater ease as I moved along!” -Maureen

Breathing Movements (56 min) / Seth Dellinger

“What a rich exploration of the breath! It's been 8 months since I last enjoyed this lesson and I was newly impressed with the many ways one can direct the breath. Although this lesson is almost an hour "simply" lying still the directions were so intriguing that it absolutely held my interest.” -Maureen

Tilting Legs, Self Hug (40 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Was struck this time with the effort that I automatically put in to rocking my chest with arms crossed in a self hug. As soon as you commented on this I made the movement smaller and slower. And noticed with appreciation and curiosity how much richer the movement then felt. This is a lovely lesson with many opportunities for self discovery.” -Maureen

The Ball and the Bowl (37 min) / Seth Dellinger

“A slow and pleasant exploration of the elusive hip joint. I am getting clearer on feeling the internal sensation but still foggy on the actual anatomy. This lesson always sends me to the anatomy app I have on my tablet!” -Maureen

Pushing Foot to Lift Hip On Back (24 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“This was a great way to un-crunch my morning crunchies today. I started barely able to lift my hip, and then that gradually expanded. Then I noticed my upper spine and neck/head weren't moving, and then that gradually melted too. I ended with a lovely smooth back and forth movement towards the end.“ -Megan

“This is one of my go to lessons when I want to just relax and enjoy. Since learning some more about orientation through Steve Hoskinson I made a point of tuning in to the pleasure. I am seeing the connection between Feldenkrais and Organic Intelligence. And glad for this new piece of awareness of pleasure.” -Maureen

Introduction and Lengthening the Arms (49 min) / David Zemach-Bersin

“Getting back to the basics is so very rich! I felt like I could really tap into the essence of what Felde is to me through this lesson, and felt myself melt more fully into the floor by the time it was done.” -Megan

“Thank you, David! I appreciated this slow and simple "getting back to basics". Particularly your instruction, while doing the initial body scan, to alternate between internal and external sensing. Of course I have been aware of the importance of reducing muscular effort, but I found the suggestion to alternate between the 2 focuses of attention allowed me to tune in to my muscular state in a more useful way.” -Maureen

Activating Your Core (36 min) / Ingrid Weisfelt

“I feel simultaneously lighter and more grounded after this lesson. I also noticed that my belly was the only thing moving when I breathed at the beginning of the lesson, and that by the end my chest was moving too.” -Megan

Neurological Wisdom of Play (32 min) / Matty Wilkinson

“Matty Wilkison's sensitivity, sensibility and gentleness is awesome! Thank you for the privilege of watching him work with Mia.” -Rose

“Thank you Matty ! this was so lovely and gentle to listen to. I have been so unable to have the patience to stay and listen and focus . Your gentle calm reminder to be slow and take rests where said in such a way that I could be receptive to your words. Really grateful” -Emma

How to do Feldenkrais Awareness through Movement Lessons (2 min) / Ingrid Weisfelt

“I could watch this type of movements to grasp movements that would fit into what docs allow. It is energizing even though some I am not supposed to do it is like a part of me can feel what it once was like and hope that takes up space to reconnect the motor planning center movement deficits. Thanks for another inspiring work and a good way to impart the ease and goals for clients to seek more Feldenkrais help even though the insurance will not pay. I even give them a book to peruse to grasp some of the movements in hope they will seek a trainer. We need more in the neighborhood and I also encourage my massage therapists to consider this as an aide for them selves. Love working with this idea for the dancers in our area and for the children.” -Marcy

Rolling from Back to Belly (45 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Loved the video of Adia. It makes it so clear. I love rolling on my bed too. Need a slightly bigger bed, now that I am 61.” -Kate

Scanning (48 min) / Arlyn Zones

“Thank you so very much for this lesson. It makes me simply happy and aware from heads to toe. Aware of myself and the environment and! peaceful with my husband and friends. Marvelous!” -Annette

Egyptian Arms (51 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“Ok, this is pretty crazy, but Egyptian Arms gave me back my full on walking stride -- the one i'd had my whole life until about 5 years ago when I progressively lost it after a series of injuries. I am beyond thrilled and so grateful. Let the magic continue!

I was drawn to do this lesson and really resisted it at first as "my arms are not the problem." I really should know better with this work by now. If my intuition says DO THIS ONE, then the "this one" is exactly what's going to take me another step closer to my optimal alignment! I am so grateful. Thank you.” -Diane

“This was one of those lessons where doing the experimental movements is very difficult and awkward for me to organize, and yet when we return to the original movement it's suddenly so easy and fluid!” -Theo

Wringing Arms (70 min) / Aliza Stewart

“Thank you, Aliza! I enjoyed this lesson very much. I loved your reminder to go beyond just following the instructions by finding complementary movements that enhance the experience. Also your reminder to look for the pleasure to be had in the movements. I found the lesson just a little too long, my attention waned with the jousting sequence so I lay down at that point. I will definitely do this one again!” -Maureen

Getting to Know Your Hip Joints (35 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I love imagining tiny feet looking for a warm nook under my back! It does indeed change the experience to think of it this way over a small rodent looking for a way to scurry from one side of my body to another. It was fun to discover how attention to my hips throughout the lesson gradually allowed me to sit up straighter and taller each time I revisited being seated.” -Megan

Planning to Flow Part 2: Creative Instinct (54 min) / Steve Hoskinson

“So excited with the info presented here!!!!! Will need to listen again (and likely again!) to let it sink in. Loved the practices you shared. I know I'm standing at the doorway of a whole new understanding of how to be joyfully alive! Thanks so much, Steve and Tiffany!” -Maureen

Creative Parenting from an Organic Intelligence Perspective (90 min) / Amie Summers

“Thank you, Amie! Through your stories you helped me gain a better understanding of Organic Intelligence. I thoroughly enjoyed your presentation!” -Maureen

“Thank you, Amie, for this webinar (and Tiffany for organizing). I am really appreciative of how you view orientation and relate it to childhood development - and how the ideal is 'secure attachment' with the primary carer to move out from and explore the world and return to. . . “ -Rose

“Speaking from a family system graduate training and development from undergraduate psychology is a way of thinking. It is so great to hear this organic understanding of human interaction and attachment. . .
Listening to Amie was nice to hear. She is an entity for family growth. . . Love all your goals and ideas. “ -Marcy

Orientation and Integration (11 min) / Tiffany Sankary

“I really like this guided orientation when I am falling into a trauma state. I notice that when my gaze becomes fixed. I notice how challenging it is to have any interest in my environment, and tunnel vision takes over. I think some of the words could be changed if this were trauma focused orientation, since the more complex words, like integration, don't make sense to brain with less access to the frontal cortex. “

Creative Sparks Closing/Integration (90 min) / Tiffany Sankary & Mark Read-Smith

“I enjoyed the exercise of typing in words that called to us as others were talking. I've continued to listen for the words that spark something in me for a few minutes each day this week, and then drawing around them. What a great idea to prime us for listening for the words that fuel our own creative sparks as others share! It's amazing the gems that people have to offer when you're listening for them! “ -Megan

“Although I was only able to participate live in one of the Creative Sparks sessions last week, I appreciated watching this closing session and witnessing both the diversity and the synergy of experiences expressed -- and the much welcomed vulnerability of all those who shared.” -Emily
